The Parsons City Commission has officially adopted a Vision Zero Resolution, reaffirming the City's commitment to improving roadway safety and reducing traffic fatalities and serious injuries by the year 2040. The resolution supports the implementation of the Safe Streets and Roads for All initiative and aligns with the recently completed Southeast Kansas Comprehensive Safety Action Plan for Labette County. Through collaboration with regional partners, law enforcement, public health officials, and community stakeholders, the City of Parsons will continue working toward safer streets and transportation systems for all residents and visitors.
