City Clerk

The City of Parsons, Kan., is accepting applications for City Clerk.  This position requires excellent accounting, finance, organizational, public relations, oral and written communication skills.  The position requires supervisory experience, records management, preparation of City Commission agendas and minutes, maintain fiscal records and accounts, preparation and oversite of the annual budget and oversees the utility customer services.  Bachelor's degree in business or finance or minimum equivalent five years of related experience.  Salary $60,000 to $75,000 DOQ, and competitive benefits.  Position will remain open until filled.  Interested candidates should submit a cover letter, resume and references to Karen Wheat, Human Resource Administrator, P.O. Code Enforcement Officer

The City of Parsons is seeking a dedicated full-time Code Enforcement Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for interpreting building codes, regulations and inspecting for code compliance. Must have strong verbal and written communication and computer skills. This position works with the public daily. Valid Kansas driver's license required. Benefit package includes health insurance, life insurance, retirement, vacation, sick and holiday pay. Maintenance Worker
