Music in the Park
Concert Series
No matter what your favorite type of music might be, the line-up of talented entertainers is always varied from year to year and the Music in the Park concert series is always a hit. The City of Parsons presents this free weekly concert series, normally held every Thursday in June and July. The series is held at the Seaton Family Pavilion in Forest Park near 13th Street and Broadway.

Fees & Seating
The Music in the Park Concert Series also receives assistance from Labette Community College. As always, the concerts are free of charge. Bench seating and picnic tables are available, but individuals are encouraged to bring their blankets and lawn chairs for a fun family evening.

Times & Concessions
Concerts start at 7:30 p.m., and concessions are usually available beginning at 6:30 p.m. In years past, Dixon's Fixin's Catering, Happy Foods, and Genelle's Kettle Korn of Parsons have served as the official concessionaires of Music in the Park.

Please remember no alcoholic beverages or glass containers are allowed in the park.

Severe Weather Plans

In case of severe weather conditions, the concerts are moved to the Parsons Municipal Auditorium, 112 South 17th, however, the July 4th concert, is always canceled in inclimate weather. For more information call 620-421-7032.
