Patrons of the Parsons Municipal Auditorium will have more options available to them when they order tickets to future events. The City of Parsons has recently sign an agreement to make TICKETsageŽ Inc. the exclusionary ticketing program for the auditorium.

TICKETsageŽ, based out of Fayetteville, Arkansas, is a computer-based program that provides an easy to navigate and user-friendly platform for individuals to purchase tickets by means of the Internet. The same system will also be used by auditorium staff for patrons ordering by telephone, mail, or in person.

To order tickets through the Internet, a patron can log onto the auditorium's website, www.parsonsauditorium.com, and click on the Auditorium Events link. The list of upcoming events will open, and for all events using TICKETsageŽ tickets a PURCHASE TICKETS HERE link will be highlighted. The patron can click on the link to order tickets.

Unlike other online ticket purchasing programs, TICKETsageŽ allows the patron more freedom to order the tickets they want. For all reserved-ticket events, the patron can open a three dimensional chart of the auditorium that will allow them to see what seats are sold, and what seats are still available. The patron can highlight and click on the available seats they want, and then charge them to a major credit card. The first time a patron orders tickets through the Internet, the whole process should take less than five minutes. The patron can then set up their own account that will allow them to quickly order tickets to other events.

Due in part to the new ticketing program, the auditorium has promoted Jayna Henderson to the job title of Facilities Assistant/Box Office Manager. She will be responsible in managing the day to day functions of the TICKETsageŽ program.
