City Manager Don Cawby welcomes you to the City of Parsons  first newsletter, and gives you idea of what lies ahead for this great community.

The City of Parsons has recently adopted a formal snow removal plan to help public safety during winter weather events.

Russell Pratt was recently hired to fill the newly created position of Budget and Finance Director for Parsons.

Economic Development Director Carolyn Kennett describes an exciting opportunity for entrepreneurs wanting to start a business in Parsons.

Once again the Parsons Municipal Auditorium enjoyed a busy year of programming and successful events.

The Parsons Fire Department personnel have been busy training to meet the Incident Management System requirements as set forth by the Federal Government.

Officer Walter Largent has been appointed as the new Community Resource Officer/D.A.R.E. Instructor.

Two Parsons Police Officers have recently been promoted in rank.

Progress continues on the Forest Park Amphitheatre Project which is scheduled to be completed this year.
